What went from an experiment, became a passion. Before creating Brewty I was in the routine of using mass produced, nutrient stripped, chemically altered personal care products for years.
A night before a typical brew day an online search for brewing ingredients returned a beer soap recipe. After reading the article I thought I would look into this soap making thing. Over the course of the next few weeks I decided to try making my own beer soap using the beer I currently had on tap. Well after a few (failed) attempts I finally dialed in on a descent bar of soap. What was a tasty Pale Ale became the base for soap bars.
I was truly amazed cause the end result was a lathering, mosturizing and cleansing bar of all natural cold processed beer soap. I was hooked and used more of my home brewed Pale Ale to make more. I also started to vary oils and exfoliants to create different bars. Naked Brewty, my very first unscented version is the anchor for what other soaps were to follow.
So when I am not occupied with my fulltime job as a Data Scientist I spend my time researching homemade soaps, lip balms, shaving and hair care recipes trying to find ways to infuse my home brewed beer into the final product. After about a year of making stuff for me and my friends, I thought others would like to experience a high quality and natural personal care alternative. So I built an online store, learned how to market my idea and began packaging these creations in a small five by ten foot room.
I stand behind every item that leaves my tiny brewing shop. I make small batches to maintain quality. The Brewty Bars however are certainly not small. With seven ounces of nutrient packed natural goodness, you will get a long lasting and mosturizing bar.
I like to make personal care products that appeal to both men and women. Everyone should experience natural Brewty.
